Gite Le Maraichin

Open only during the summer months, the Maraîchin gîte will win you over with its unusual setting between sea and countryside. Peace and quiet are guaranteed and there's plenty of space. Ideal for several families.

Situated in an old farm building surrounded by meadows with a few horses, our gîte comprises three large family rooms with separate entrances leading directly outside, a gîte for 4 people and a veranda with a group kitchen so that everyone can get together. The maximum capacity is 15 people.

Numerous footpaths are accessible directly from the site, whether on foot, by bike or on horseback. We can provide you with itineraries. You can discover our rocky or sandy coasts, cross the salt marshes or fish marshes, visit the oyster beds, get lost in our forests, discover a washhouse hidden in the hedged farmland, or take the dolmen trail - our landscapes are varied and numerous.

For thrill-seekers, the O'Fun Park (tree climbing) and O'Gliss Park (water park) are just 10km away.

For nature lovers, the Pointe du Payré with its hundred-year-old holm oaks or the Pointe d'Arçay and its bird sanctuary will enchant you.

For those who like to party, the port of Jard-sur-Mer and its night-time entertainment are just 3km away.

The Puy du Fou and its grandiose shows are just an hour's drive away, as is the splendid aquarium at La Rochelle.
