Le Grabat

Looking for peace and quiet in the countryside? Then this is the gite for you! Set in an old farmhouse, Le Grabat is located on a farm. The gite adjoins a house and is close to the owner's accommodation. The ground floor comprises a living room with fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a storeroom, a shower room with separate WC and a bedroom (2 single beds 90x200). Upstairs, 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds (3 with washbasins), a shower room and separate WC. The 400 m² enclosed garden provides a wonderful play area for children. The 100 m² terrace with garden furniture and barbecue is ideal for lunches with friends. To make your stay easier, we have childcare equipment available. You can also rent sheets. A games room with table football is available if the weather is less kind. You can also store your beach equipment, fishing gear or the bikes you need to take advantage of all the cycle paths in the Vendée! Around the gite, children will love feeding the farm animals (collections of ducks, hens, geese and sheep) and helping to reduce our waste. Le Grabat is located between Challans and Le Perrier (D753), just a few kilometres from the beach. In the heart of the Breton marshes of the Vendée, it's a unique place where nature lovers can recharge their batteries. Cycle or walk along the "étiers" (canals) and observe the wildlife all around you. Ashy herons, little egrets - can you spot them? And can you hear the croaking of the reindeer? But the magic moment, the one not to be missed, is when the sun rises over the still misty marsh.
