Presentation of: CIRCUIT DES MINES DE LANGUIN
Discover "La Route du Charbon", on the site of the "Mines de Languin".
The village of Languin still bears the marks of the old coal mines, which remained in operation until the early 20th century.
The tour will take you in turn along the banks of the "Rigole Alimentaire" and past the home of the director of the mines (built in 1723), where a three-hundred-year-old Cedar of Lebanon (1737) takes pride of place.
From the village of Bel Air, you can enjoy a remarkable view of the surrounding bocage, which rises to an altitude of 55 metres.
