Presentation of: CINEMA LE CONCORDE
Created in 2006 by the town of La Roche-sur-Yon and the municipality of Aubigny-les-Clouzeaux, the mission of the Établissement Public de Coopération Culturelle Cinématographique Yonnais (EPCCCY) is to coordinate a cultural film project for the Yonnais area, with the aim of extending its reach to the departmental, regional, national and international levels. Its project is based on three main areas:
-Operation of the Le Concorde cinema: an art house cinema with 4 screens, awarded the Research & Discovery, Heritage & Repertoire, Young Audiences and Europa Cinemas labels, attracting around 70,000 admissions a year.
-Organisation of the La Roche-sur-Yon International Film Festival: every year in October, the festival presents previews of films, attracting almost 30,000 spectators.
-Image education initiatives: coordination of initiatives such as École et cinéma, Collège au cinéma, and projects with various schools and social players, from primary to secondary school.
A 30-second walk from Place Napoléon.
Disabled access, lift to all 4 screens.
Single tickets, non-nominative 10-ticket card valid for 1 year, non-nominative 5-ticket card valid for 1 year.
