Josette or Water, Clay, Fire and the Potter's Hand
Josette has been working as a ceramist in Soullans for fifteen years. She loves working with her element, clay, and her main tool, her hands.
Her creations can be polished, smooth like the pebbles rolled by the waves, or cracked like tree bark. Her works sometimes seem to come straight out of the depths of the ocean or the heart of the forest!
Josette is inexhaustible about her passion, and takes great pleasure in explaining her techniques and the history of her pieces.
She fashions and creates a magical world that she loves to share, which is why she welcomes you to her studio on Thursday afternoons in the summer.
