Marie-Christine Grangiens, a potter, works in Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche, a charming art village in the Vendée nicknamed "Beaulieu des Arts" because it is home to a dozen art craftspeople and cultural businesses.

She has been based in the Vendée for over 30 years, just twenty kilometres from the ocean, and has chosen to work in stoneware, creating ceramics that bring harmony and pleasure to everyday gestures.

Marie-Christine Grangiens works with each person according to their needs and desires, using modelling, colombin, plate or throwing techniques, as well as decorating, glazing and firing.
