Presentation of: PHIL DE VERRE
A glassblower using a blowtorch, Philippe works with coloured or transparent glass rods and tubes at 1400°C. Heaping up the glass, playing with weightlessness and using tongs, he brings to life a host of characters and animals as his imagination takes him, always with a humorous touch reminiscent of the world of cartoons.
Come and discover the work of this blowtorch glassmaker during demonstrations at his workshop in Sallertaine, in the heart of the Île aux artisans.
