"You who love light should come to the Vendée" - it was this phrase that motivated the famous painter Charles Atamian to come to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie for the first time in 1923. He went on to stay here regularly, composing hundreds of works.
Since 2023, 40 of his works, rich in relief and light, have been on permanent display at the@ Bibliothèque. We invite you to come and admire his works in the dedicated space during opening hours.
