Leaving the Vallée Mabile lake, this path takes hikers below the Sillon de Bretagne to the marsh and its moat lined with trees and reeds. Populated by grey herons feeding among the cows, the only permanent inhabitants of the area, the walker will be struck by the charm of the Lower Loire.
