Presentation of: Naviguez a bord du Drakkar de Vendee
Based in Les Sables d'Olonne, the Drakkar de Vendée is a replica of an 8th-century drakkar for coastal sailing.
All you need to do is join the "Drakkar de Vendée" association.
Membership fee for 2025: €30 - Half-day trip.
Each outing is an opportunity to learn about sailing aboard Olaf d'Olonne, the Drakkar de Vendée. You'll also learn about the history of the Vikings in the Vendée and Pays de la Loire regions, the construction of the ship and, quite simply, the pleasure of sailing aboard a 23m-long, 18-tonne drakkar with its 110m2 sail.
Outings take place in the Bay of Les Sables d'Olonne.
