Embark from Montsoreau, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages - you won't want to miss it! From the water's edge, the heritage is perched or suggested: promontory churches, troglodytic hillsides sheltering places to visit, restaurants, accommodation and wine cellars. To make sure you don't miss out on all this richness on the right bank, follow the section in the opposite direction from Saumur, along the GR3 or La Loire à Vélo.
