Marina with 18 boat docks and a slipway. Toilets are available to the public. Wooden footbridge above the canal between the marina and Promenade Anne de Bretagne, leading to the castle of La Groulais.
In the beginning of the last century, at the port of Blain, foodstuffs, wine barrels, Loire river sand, fertiliser, and more, were unloaded from the barges, which then left loaded with cidre apples, oak trunks, clogs from Le Gâvre, charcoal... to the rhythm of the draft horses! Nowadays, it is a marina with boat docks (with power grid connections), a slipway, and a public toilet. A water point is available, along with a waste water drain point. It is a favourite of people who cruise the Canal, especially for a nice meal at its two restaurants.
