Presentation of: L'OASIS DE MATHIEU
Passionate about living things, Mathieu Fétiveau set up his fruit nursery and conservatory orchard in 2024 on around 7 hectares in Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups.
L'Oasis de Mathieu offers :
- Plant production: fruit trees, fruit, vegetables, market garden plants, etc.
- Animal production: eggs and honey
=> Two open-air orchards of old varieties. Tall orchards are the basis of the farm.
=> Fruit trees for sale (apple, pear, plum and cherry). Young trees are grafted in February/March for sale from November of the same year.
=> Market gardening is practised in agroforestry, i.e. in association with trees (fruit trees in this case). His market garden produce is certified AB. It will be possible to pick strawberries in 2025, and his produce is available in shops and from other market gardeners.
=> 200 Marans hens are reared on the farm in the open air. They live outdoors 100% of the time (at night in the mobile henhouse). They have wooded runs (with fruit trees) and always have access to grass.
