Presentation of: La saline "Tenue de Mareil"
The commented tour of the salt marsh allows you to discover, how a salt marsh works and to observe the ancestral gestures of the salt worker and to taste this "white gold".
Where can we buy salt from "La Tenue de Mareil" ?
- Directly in the salt marsh in july and august : everyday, from 11:00 to 12:00 and from 17:30 to 19:00.
- All year long in the tourist office of Les Moutiers-en-Retz.
- At the market of Les Moutiers-en-Retz, in july and august, on thursdays and saturdays.
The visits/guided tours :
- In july and August, on tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays at 18:00. The visit lasts one hour and a half. This tour is available in English spoken.
