Les Jardins du Puyrajoux are market gardens inspired by the principles of permaculture in Venansault (85190).
The techniques used aim to store carbon (planting over 1 km of hedges and 5 ha of agroforestry), promote biodiversity (market gardening techniques on living soil, including the use of plant mulch) and limit the ecological footprint (no use of motorised machinery for cultivation).
The aim of the gardens is to offer extra fresh fruit and vegetables (picked on the morning of the sale) that are organic and healthy (no treatments are applied to the crops).
