L'Obligeance farm, Les Petits Maraichins, located in the heart of the Marais Breton Vendéen, tells the story of a family passion that spans generations. Founded by Maurice and Monique, Nicolas's grandparents, the farm was created several decades ago, driven by their devotion to the land and their animals. Since its foundation, the farm has specialised in dairy farming, an activity that remains the beating heart of our business to this day. Today, under the responsibility of the third generation, the farm has evolved while remaining faithful to Maurice and Monique's heritage. Modern equipment has replaced hand milking, but the essence of our profession remains unchanged: producing quality milk that respects our animals and our land. Every litre of milk, every gesture made here is marked by this family history, passed on with passion and pride. Since 2024, some of the milk produced on the farm has been processed directly from the milking, into a range of raw milk dairy products with the organic label (yoghurts, fromage frais, fromage frais and matured cheeses), then distributed through short distribution channels. L'Obligeance farm is much more than a place of production, it's a living history of memories, traditions and precious family know-how, which continues to be lovingly perpetuated.
