A true family affair that dates back to the 19th century. Today Jean-Yves Lebreton runs the business with more than a little assistance from his wife and his son and wife. When asked, Monsieur Lebreton will tell you he and his family are driven by a common passion for all things wine, but mostly he is in search of 'perfection'....and it shows! They have adopted a more environmentally-friendly solution to cultivation, resulting in some fine Crémant de Loire and Loire Rosé (both AOC); some equally attractive AOC whites and reds and two medallion rosé wines: the Rosé de Loire Sec (AOC) and the Cabernet d'Anjou sec (AOC).
You'll find the vineyard at St Jean des Mauvrets, just to the south of Angers.
