In three albums, Irène Drésel has laid the foundations of her hold on the electronic music scene. Like a mantra, they echo and pay homage to a metaphorical equation that has accompanied the artist since her encounter with contemporary art in 2003: "attraction + repulsion = fascination". Hyper Cristal, his first album, was the opposite polarity of Kinky Dogma, released two years later; Rose Fluo is their synthesis, the culmination of an odyssey, the end of a cycle.
Irène Drésel's techno is a blend of aestheticism and transgression. Powerful, magnetic, as spatial as it is organic, the prism of her music casts a light from the shadows, giving rise to contrasting imagery. There's no respite for the audience, hypnotised by the sound of bells and the incisive rhythms of Irène's secret garden and her partner Sizo Del Givry (percussionist), as her live show takes on the trappings of a pagan ceremony. Concert halls and festivals will be filled with shades of pink to celebrate her third album, 'ROSE FLUO', whose tour, barely announced, already includes a sold-out Olympia in May 2024.
