Concert Jazz Swing - Alice au Pays des Merveilles

Renowned for their jubilant adaptations of children's classics, the intrepid jazz ensemble The Amazing Keystone Big Band transforms Alice in Wonderland into an exuberant, funny and breathtaking musical tale that will appeal to audiences of all ages.

On stage, the band's 17 musicians and 2 actors take you through the looking glass to discover the different jazz styles they have associated with the story's protagonists.

Swing to the virtuoso themes of Duke Ellington with the White Rabbit, dance to the jazz-funk of James Brown as you fall down the rabbit hole. Open the garden gate to a jazz waltz and meet the Smoking Caterpillar to reggae-tinged jazz! Get ready for the Hatter's hair-raising mambo and the Queen of Hearts' brass band. Finally, come back to reality with Alice on Count Basie-style blues.
