Marcel et son Orchestre - The more the merrier!

In early 2012, after 25 years together, Marcel announced his separation. To celebrate in style, the band are going on tour to thank their fans and give all their friends one last kiss. The tour will come to an end on 14 and 15 December 2012 in Lille for two marathon concerts where the band will play 50 tracks a night in an Aeronef full of laughter and a few tears. It's not always easy to hide your feelings behind your curlers. Since then, they've put the fun back in the fridge and frozen that bad spirit.

And then, with the passage of time, the fridge door was left ajar, like an itch, perhaps from a family meal with a little too much to drink, from negligence or an unintentional act. The band, which had been in hibernation for 5 years, hesitated, wondered and then dived back in. Just one little slice of raw pleasure. Feeling a tad guilty about diving back in, they'll tell you that if they're planning to bring out their little mummy dress again, it's because of climate change. They'll still claim that they didn't know how to meet all the expectations of inconsolable fans.

It's all a load of rubbish. The culprit is their greed. They have an urge, an enormous urge, an insane urge to have a big slice of fun, to roll around on the floor, to redouble their irreverence, to bellow rock'n'roll, to make the guitars scream, to bang on the drums, to violate the piano and to blow into the trumpets and saxophones. Because in these formidable times, how can we resist the pleasure of laughing at benevolent hypocrisy any longer? So let's urgently rediscover our insolence. "Bob's NoT Dead! is a songwriter and composer who sings about life, love and rebellion... He travels the bars, concerts and festivals of his region with only an acoustic guitar and Paulette, his rhythm box, as his weapons. By turns nostalgic, moving and funny, with the right word and the formula that kills, a real poetry of everyday life and infinite tenderness. Bob carries around his spleen for an ideal, his love for simple, real people, his laughter as the politeness of despair.

Tramble - A project by Fred Lambert, from Nantes, France, who escaped from the groups Moustache Museum and Rum Tum Tiddles to return to an essential need, that of composing. His songs, in French and English, are a blend of pop, rock and psychedelia, combining the heady sweetness of Kevin Morby, Dominique A and Courtney Barnett with the delicate musings of his graphic universe. Joined on stage by Thierry Abad and Sylvain Jonchère, the bass/drums/guitar/machines trio electrify their compositions, taking them into indie rock territory.
