DESTINATION ARTISTIQUE "A la loupe"

The Vie et Boulogne Tourist Office is opening its doors to artists from the region from Tuesday 3 September to Saturday 21 December 2024. After responding to a call for applications, 14 artists from the Vendée have been selected to exhibit their work and meet the public. To harmonise their work, we have grouped them under 5 themes.

- Eric MARCQ, Beauvoir-sur-Mer (photography)
I've been a photographer since 1980, and I've been the president and organiser of the Beauvoir-sur-Mer photo club for 8 years. I draw my inspiration from nature and everything that surrounds us...
I take photos of animals, landscapes and anything else that interests me. Now that I'm retired, I have time to devote to my passion.

I'm deeply connected to nature and the biodiversity that surrounds us.
For me, capturing the beauty of our natural environment and showcasing its diversity is an essential aspect of my photography.
Each image I capture is a celebration of the richness of wildlife, the complexity of ecosystems and the need to preserve these precious habitats.
My aim is to raise awareness of the importance of conservation, to promote respect and co-existence with wildlife and to share my admiration for the wonders of nature through my photographic art.
Whether documenting spectacular landscapes, fascinating animals or unique moments of wildlife, I strive to convey the emotion and wonder of the natural beauty that surrounds us.

I started photography (self-taught) in 2020/2021.
My artist name "La Magie de Laure" expresses my spiritual vision of life.
I let myself be guided when I set out to take photographs. I present my photos on different media.
