Today, washing clothes has never been easier. In past centuries, however, this household task required a great deal of time and strength. The exhibition takes a look at a day in the life of a market gardener, from the gestures to the utensils used, questioning our relationship with laundry and looking at the social issues involved in this everyday practice.
