EXPOSITION EN VIE D'ART

"En Vie d'Art" is a group of artists from the Pays de Vie who are presenting the work of three artists, Michèle CERBELLO, Françoise GOSSET and Martine LHERITIER, whose combined vision offers the public a collection of works with different, but nevertheless converging, sensibilities. Over and above the diverse technical facets of these three artists, the exhibition as a whole finds its unity in the expression of an unmistakably feminine universe.

Michèle CERBELLO, pastellist and painter, prefers to paint the expression of faces or bodies: the feeling of a woman or a child... she uses different media and techniques, particularly pastel and acrylic. Painting has become a passion for her, and she sometimes makes her own passe-partouts and frames.

Françoise GOSSET, an artist and sculptor, models the canvas and folds it to bring it to life, exploiting shadows and folds. She then uses materials and finally brings colour into play, accentuating relief through brilliance. She also works as a sculptor, giving free rein to her imagination to create feminine and marine forms...

Martine LHERITIER, ceramist and painter, with a passion for clay, painting and mosaics, the artist has combined these three passions into one, creating paintings in clay or stoneware, in a "mosaic fresco" style: the slab of clay is cut out; then the composition is glazed, assembled and framed. She also loves modelling Miss with her hair blowing in the wind - from the West, of course...
