In April and May, the Jim-Dandurand multimedia library is delighted to present the work of Michaël Cailloux.
This contemporary artist, engraver and illustrator combines his talents to create an enchanting world of plants. His work is inspired by nature and colour, and pays tribute to both Art Nouveau naturalism and 17th-century still lifes.
His work as an illustrator always begins with a fine felt-tip pen and on art paper.
He has illustrated and co-written books for the publishers Thierry Magnier and Delachault et Niestlé, some of whose originals you can see at this exhibition.
