Freddy EICHELBERGER. If he hadn't loved musical experiences so much, Freddy Eichelberger would surely have gone back to live in the tropics, where he spent part of his childhood.
After studying the organ with Odile Bailleux and Jean Boyer, he went on to study the harpsichord with Blandine Verlet and Noëlle Spieth.
Involved in musical theatre with the ensemble Les Witches, he works with singer-actress-director Sophie Boulin at the Péniche Opéra in Paris. He plays with a number of early music ensembles, with the violinist Odile Edouard, is a member of the trio Une bande de clavecins with Pierre Gallon and Yoann Moulin, and regularly teaches at various courses and master classes.
Freddy Eichelberger has been responsible for the artistic supervision of the 200 Bach cantatas performed in concert at the Temple du Foyer de l'Âme in Paris from 2000 to 2024.
He has made over sixty recordings, either solo or with other partners or ensembles.
