After telling tales of the people of the great cold in their first show, the Nelson duo wanted to celebrate the outdoors, life, the need to listen and to come out of cocoons with Forêts. Songs about spring, beetles, the links between species and secret trees, with catchy pop refrains. To the sound of electric guitar and cello, synthesizers and electro instrumentation, the chiselled lyrics are as much a poetic invitation to marvel as they are an invitation to dance! Forêts is also an exploration in sound, where you can hear the swarming underground, the rustling in the foliage, the characteristic trisyllabic stanza of the hoopoe and the song of a plant. Yes, yes, a plant is singing! She appears here as if by magic (thanks to technology), like a third musician on stage, to accompany the notes and songs of the duo with her voice and sounds. Let's put it in a nutshell: you hear it sing thanks to the electrical frequencies it emits when it comes into contact with NELSON's electronic music, and all this is transcribed using a midi box that translates frequencies into music. It's like being there and seeing yourself in this forest of a thousand colours. Accompanied by a scenography of light and shadow that brings the outside inside.
