JOURNEE EUROPEENNE DU PATRIMOINE - HARAS DE LA VENDEE
To mark the European Heritage Days, the Vendée département is opening the doors of the Haras de la Vendée free of charge on 21 and 22 September.

Presentation of: JOURNEE EUROPEENNE DU PATRIMOINE - HARAS DE LA VENDEE
FREE TOUR OF THE SITE: Stroll around the 4.5-hectare park, visit the large stables and the various sites dedicated to the history of the horse.
Saturday:
- Equestrian demonstrations by riders from the Département.
- Presentation of the Haras cavalry.
- Presentation of horse-drawn carriages.
- Foal Trophy: as every year, the best foals from the Vendée region will be presented at the Haras de la Roche sur Yon. The aim of this trophy is to elect the best foal in its category.
- Musical entertainment.
Sunday:
- CAVALCADES, journeys to the heart of equestrian disciplines and sports: Sunday 22 September, entertainment from 10am to 12pm then from 2pm to 6pm.
- The Egageries riding centre, the Haut Vignaud stables, the Société Hippique Yonnaise and the "Le Cheval à Bascule" association will be present.
- Presentation of traditional horse-drawn carriages from the National Stud.
Open non-stop Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm
