On Sunday 14 September, on the Pré de la Fontaine, our town will be buzzing to the rhythm of Nature and Flavour Day, a festival dedicated to nature and gourmet pleasures.
As in previous years, local producers will be on hand to display and sell their fresh produce. Visitors will be able to sample a variety of dishes prepared by them using fresh produce.
Craftsmen and women will be showcasing their skills at a range of stands and interactive workshops. Renowned chef Michel Pelé will be sharing his passion and tips in cooking workshops.
Environmentalists will be at the heart of the event, offering advice and educational activities for young and old alike. The public will be able to learn about ecological gardening, composting and waste reduction techniques.
The day's activities will be varied and entertaining, with postcard-making, environmental games, pony rides and music on bikes.
