The 41st European Heritage Days, taking place over the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 September 2024, will focus on the heritage of routes, networks and connections, and maritime heritage.
Guided tour: The Seigneurie de Belleville
During this walk, you will follow the site of the former moat of Belleville Castle and discover its history and that of the former church.
Take a break from another period in Belleville's history, the Vendée Wars: you'll also discover the facades of Charette's former headquarters (1794 and 1795) as well as the Officers' Mess and the Palais Royal.
The mural will provide an opportunity to discover the seigneury of Belleville, at its height in the 14th century, and the epic story of Jeanne de Belleville, nicknamed the Breton Tigress.
