Journees Europeennes du Patrimoine - Concert au Centre Hospitalier Georges-Mazurelle

Sunday at 5.00pm: Concert of sacred music by the Roland de Lassus choir and the Ensemble Instrumental Galatée (works by Buxtehude,
Fransico Durante, Arvo Pärt...), hospital chapel.

The Grimaudière asylum has been located on its current site since 1853. The hospital is the leading public psychiatric and mental health establishment in the Vendée. Visitors can explore the grounds and green spaces to discover the architectural development of the establishment, which is closely linked to the development of care and the different types of care provided, from the very young to the elderly.
