A raw, self-taught artist, Pascal Audin is very close to the world of Gaston Chaissac. He used to live in a coloured house in Gençay, and has since set up his studio and exhibition space in the school in Moussac sur Vienne. Like Chaissac, he shares his life with a teacher, Véronique, who inspires him and manages his exhibitions. His "bear's paw", his totem animal, follows his instinct to draw shapes filled with bold, bright colours.

- Jacques Chauvin, a self-taught scholar, will be giving a talk on Sunday 22 September at 3pm entitled "Gaston Chaissac, sur-reel et poète" (Gaston Chaissac, sur-real and poet).
