This trio of clowns with a passion for the ukulele are out to restore this much-mocked little instrument to its former glory. One evening, a concert turns into a disaster, much to your delight. The clumsiness of the three musicians quickly turns the concert into unbridled chaos.
Between offbeat covers and original songs, the G.O.P. will have just one aim: to try and finish the concert!
The ukulele is the smallest of the string instruments. All too often it has been mocked and ridiculed, limited to epinal images covered in Hawaiian sand. Mankind as a whole seems to have overlooked this invention, which is as important as fire and the wheel. Yet Nirvana, Bach, David Bowie, Georges Brassens and the Spice Girls all composed on the ukulele.
An elegant circus universe, diabolical rigour and self-mockery - that's the recipe for these heroes whose superpower is to trigger our laughter.
