Drawn from the history of art, photography and architecture, his representations are fleeting and, paradoxically, take time to be seen.
"These are moments that Zhu Hong freezes on paper for long days after capturing them with a camera to a thousandth of a second. The repetitive gesture of squeezing an infinite number of vertical lines against each other forms a framework that derealizes the image and tends towards abstraction. (...) Patiently elaborated, these images are a tribute to the passing of time...".
