MIRAMAR - DES OEUVRES SUR LES MURS DE LA VILLE
A brand new visual arts festival is coming to Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez!
Presentation of: MIRAMAR - DES OEUVRES SUR LES MURS DE LA VILLE
On Saturday 5 April at 10am or 3pm, take part in the creation of a mural under the guidance of artist NELIO.
Workshop duration: 2 hours
What to bring: warm clothes that don't mind being painted.
The workshop is open to all, with no age limit.
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
BOOKINGS CAN BE MADE ON THE TOWN HALL WEBSITE.
This second edition of the festival is organised in collaboration with Matthieu Pommier and Pedro Richardo, muralists from Hilairo and Gillocrucien with an international reputation. The region's artistic history (including that of the surrounding communes) has been marked by a number of painters, notably Henry Simon and Charles Milcendeau. Both painted murals. Both painted scenes of life, images inspired by popular customs and the trades of the people who lived there.
Matthieu Pommier and Pedro Richardo wanted to choose artists who, in their subjects or in the places they occupied, were also committed to celebrating ordinary, everyday things, to show all their poetry. Their work can be abstract or figurative.
The new works will be added to the first three created in April 2024, outlining a route through the city's public spaces.
