Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Creation

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, the arts and crafts sector invites you to the heart of the Jardin Dumaine and the Salle des Fêtes for its major annual event, "Les Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Création".

For its 12th edition, Les Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Création will bring together around a hundred exhibitors from the four corners of the Vendée and beyond, to showcase their skills and share their passion with the public.

Two days devoted to arts and crafts, heritage and gardening in one of the most beautiful public gardens in the Pays-de-la-Loire. For the more delicate crafts, such as gold leaf gilding, the artisans will also be taking their place in the village hall adjoining the garden.

On the programme:
Saturday 21 September
- Harp concert on the lake by Cécile Corbel, a talented harpist and singer. Let yourself be transported by her spellbinding music in a magical setting.
- Le raccommodeur de fleurs" show by Mystérieuses Coiffures: Enjoy a poetic performance in which flowers are transformed into ephemeral hairstyles.
- BULLLABO SOLO" show by Compagnie Feu Non Bulle: Immerse yourself in a magical world where giant bubbles come to life.
- Introduction to manual trades with the association L'Outil en Main: Youngsters aged 9 and over can discover stone, wood and metal work.

Sunday 22nd September
- Fée Bulle" show by the Compagnie Feu Non Bulle: Admire the grace and magic of a fairy made of giant bubbles.
- Activities and demonstrations throughout the day: Meet talented craftspeople and discover their unique skills.
- Introduction to manual trades with the association L'Outil en Main: Youngsters aged 9 and over can discover stone, wood and metal work.

The Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Création only lasts for one weekend each year, so remember to book your tickets early for special rates!


This event is organised by the Office de Tourisme de la Vendée du Sud with the support of the Communauté de Communes Sud Vendée Littoral, the commune of Luçon, the Conseil Départemental de la Vendée, the Chambre des Métiers de l'Artisanat de Vendée and the Région Pays de la Loire - Mission "Pays de la Loire - Métiers d'Art".
