TANGAGE
Presentation of: TANGAGE
Discovery concert
With Thierry Le Gall (piano)
Thierry Le Gall (alias Tangage) composes his scores, sometimes with furtive tenderness, sometimes with shared confidential joy, but always with passion.
Nourished by his many travels in Africa and Asia, he says: "The imaginary compass of time disorients me and, on the staff, I look for my way. Music is the other, inner, imaginary journey. I like to take a nomadic 'stroll' along the shores of mankind: those of Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin, Bartok, Piazzolla, Monk, Jim, Janis, Jimmy... and so many unknowns.
Thierry Le Gall composes mainly for solo piano, but also duos (with violin, cello or viola), trios and quintets. His latest opus, Landa, played exclusively on piano, reveals his neo-classical universe, out of fashion, out of time... It's a pleasure to listen to his creations, his melodies, his inner journeys tinged with lyricism.
