Presentation of: Chapelle Sainte-Anne

Built between 1880 and 1886 by the architect Georges Lafont, this chapel was
later to be abandoned by the faithful upon the construction of a new church in
1931.
Sold to the town council in 1981 it has subsequently been transformed into a cultural centre used as a venue for exhibitions and concerts.

Abbaye Royale

SAINT-MICHEL-EN-L'HERM

The abbey was founded in 682 AD on a limestone islet. Following the Concordat of 1516, it became a royal abbey.
