On Thursday 19 September, La Roche-sur-Yon will be rocking to the rhythm of Festember, the long-awaited back-to-school event to be held in the Place du Président Jacques-Chirac.

An evening packed with activities
Festember kicks off at 6pm, and visitors can discover a number of community stands dedicated to information and prevention. These stands will be the ideal opportunity to find out more about local initiatives, meet the town's community players, and discuss a range of subjects, from health to the environment.

Don't miss the theatrical improvisations by the Compagnie Coïncidences. A selfie booth will also be set up, giving participants a fun way to immortalise their evening.

Youth Forum: "It's up to you to come up with ideas for the city of tomorrow".
Festember is not just a party, it's also a time for exchange and reflection, particularly through the Youth Forum. This call to the town's young people is an invitation to express their vision of the future of La Roche-sur-Yon. Participants will be encouraged to share their ideas and propose initiatives that could shape the city of tomorrow. A not-to-be-missed civic moment for all those who wish to contribute to the development of their community.

An evening of music
The evening will continue from 9pm with a DJ set that promises to set the dance floor alight. The frenzied rhythms and vibrant lights will transform the Place du Président Jacques-Chirac into a veritable open-air dancefloor. Whether you're an experienced dancer or just prefer to enjoy the atmosphere, this DJ set is the perfect opportunity to end the evening in style.

On-site Bar and Catering
To make the evening even more festive, a bar will be set up on the square, allowing participants to refresh themselves throughout the event. There will also be food stalls around the square, offering a variety of choices to satisfy every culinary craving. Don't forget to bring your own reusable cup for a more environmentally-friendly event!
