Malted Milk is continuing its odyssey with a new album entitled "1975", the birth date of guitarist and singer Arnaud Fradin, the founder and leader of this Nantes-based group which, since its creation in 1996, has become one of the key references on the international soul/blues scene. Supported by his loyal and formidable bandmates and advised by the shrewd ear of Italian guitarist and singer Marco Cinelli, Arnaud Fradin's lyrics on this tenth album revolve around his personal life and reflect on the condition of an ever-changing world.
Initiated in 2014 as a jam session between three of the city's finest musicians - drummer David McGraw, with his perfect touch, intoxicating bassist Bryant Moore and guitarist Jimmy James - the band now boasts a percussionist and four horn players. The band's live performances have earned them rave reviews and millions of streams on YouTube.
In 2017, True Loves recorded their debut instrumental LP, Famous Last Words, which received adoration across the city and earned them slots at coveted festivals such as Sasquatch, Doe Bay and Upstream. In 2018 the band released the single 'Dapper Derp/Kabuki' on WeCoast Records and in 2019 the acclaimed Colemine Records released 'Famous Last Words/Mary Pop Poppins'.
