Presentation of: MASTERCLASS COMPOSITION/ARRANGEMENT AVEC ADRIEN LEGRAND
Through listening to and discovering Adrien Legrand's work sessions and the personal recordings of each of the participants, we will discuss :
Composition: the different starting points: harmony, rhythm, melody, text, sound, chance, group improvisation, first intention, etc.
The four main parameters to be determined before moving on to the arrangement: tonality, tempo, structure, lyrics (if there is singing).
The arrangement : The parts and structures of a piece, removing/adding, breaks, silences, variations in playing intensity, effects, rhythm, questions and answers, doubling, playing with timbres, diverting the instrument...
