Presentation of: Journees Europeennes du Patrimoine a Aizenay - Visite commentee du Sentier du Souvenir
The 41st European Heritage Days, taking place over the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 September 2024, will focus on the heritage of routes, networks and connections, and maritime heritage.
As part of the 80th anniversary of the crash of the Big Red plane, take part in interactive tours (audios produced by secondary school pupils, history engraved on the plane's wings), accompanied by the Historic Heritage Memory association, on the site of the Big Red and the Aizenay forest.
The association will be organising transport around the site in vintage vehicles.
Exhibition of old photographs from the 1939-1945 war by the Conseil des Sages.
Friday 20 September: guided tours by night, departing in vintage vehicles* at 7.45pm and again at 8.45pm.
Saturday 21 September: departures in vintage vehicles* at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, then 7.45pm and 8.45pm.
*Limited places, reservations recommended
