The 41st European Heritage Days, taking place over the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 September 2024, will focus on the heritage of routes, networks and connections, and maritime heritage.

EVENTS AT THE CHATEAU
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September

Step back in time and discover Apremont Castle! The arts of eating, dressing and horse riding
the Middle Ages will no longer hold any secrets for you! These "flash" discoveries will be on offer throughout the afternoon.

ARTS AND CRAFTS AT THE CHATEAU
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September

Julie Fouquemberg, costume jeweller and glass founder, Claude Legeay, lapidary, and Sandrine Cardin, thread craftswoman, will be sharing their passion for their craft with you. These two afternoons of exhibition and sale will be punctuated by enriching discussions and demonstrations.

THE APREMONT SCROLL, THE FIRST REPRESENTATION OF BAS-POITOU, BETWEEN FICTION AND REALITY
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September

Archaeologist Eloïs Charbonnel will be presenting her research on the Apremont scroll, a map produced in 1542 by an engineer commissioned by the Lord of Apremont, Jean de Brosse.
