JOLIE MÔME is an evocative stage name with poignant, committed lyrics reminiscent of Léo Ferré. Behind this pseudonym lies Mélissa Baissières, a singer-songwriter recognisable by her red headband inspired by the Guarani Indians. This young singer-guitarist with a strong, rebellious personality sings the poetry of life, the pain of wounded hearts, the desire for adventure and nature, love and its uncertainties. Her words, written with passion, go straight to the heart, and her universe of poetic songs is sublimated by the arrangements of Cynthia Hingant and Simon Bordes. The melodies, tinged with folk and revisited rhythms, are reminiscent of artists like Ala.ni and Asaf Avidan, with lyrics influenced by Léo Ferré, Barbara, Brel, Mano Solo and Noir Désir. In 2023, JOLIE MÔME released their first album, Legoland, and enjoyed considerable success, playing almost 100 concerts in three years.
