Journees Europeennes du Patrimoine - Reouverture de la Maison Renaissance : Franck Arnaud

Franck Arnaud is a designer and sculptor whose artistic journey began in the 1980s with applied arts. After setting up his first workshop focusing on research into high-temperature enamels, his artistic exploration deepened with the interpretation of the works of Daniel Montmollin, followed by a decade immersed in the mysteries of the smoky earths of raku. Meeting Camille Virot and travelling to Japan with Hikitsuchi sensei were deeply moving moments, marked by a profound connection with nature, expressed with gratitude. This experience shaped a new approach to clay and fire, and led to the discovery of calligraphy.
