A candlelit concert by the NANTES baroque orchestra, Stradivaria.
For this concert, it's the oboe that leads the way: for once, a wind invites itself to the strings and steals the show!
Here we discover an extraordinarily fresh and inventive repertoire in which the oboe's song, by turns bucolic, voluble or virtuoso, sheds new light on the string trio. Franz Krommer's quartet, full of charm and lightness, dialogues with Georg Druschetzky's tribute to Bach, which is darker and more tortured. The second part is introduced by Boccherini's great string trio in C minor, and Mozart concludes the programme with a masterpiece of which only he possessed the secret.
