Presentation of: Barrage du Marillet

The dam was built to meet the ever-increasing need for drinking water, but also to support the low-water levels of the Lay and the marshes downstream, and to irrigate neighbouring land.

The reservoir created by the dam covers 127 hectares and contains 7,300,000 m3 of water.
The lake is also a great place for fishing.
