Julien LUCQUIAUD began playing the organ at the Cognac Conservatoire. He went on to study at the Angoulême Conservatoire, before winning a first prize in Olivier Vernet's class at the Tours Conservatoire in 2005. He then went on to study with Pierre Farago at the Boulogne-Billancourt conservatoire, winning a first prize in 2007. He took improvisation classes with Pierre Pincemaille at the Saint-Maur-des-Fossés conservatoire, winning first prize unanimously with congratulations from the jury in 2013.
Julien Lucquiaud holds a master's degree in musicology and has a dual career as a music teacher and concert organist.
He has performed in concert in Saintes, Royan, Cognac, La Rochelle, Tours, Le Havre, Reims, Roquevaire, at the Chapelle Royale at the Château de Versailles, and in Paris as a soloist or accompanist.
Since 2016, Julien Lucquiaud has been titular of the great organ of the church of Saint-Dominique in Paris.
Jorris SAUQUET was introduced to music at the choir school of Notre-Dame de Royan, where his passion for the organ was born, fascinated by the improvisations of his future teacher Jacques Dussouil.
A pupil of Didier Ledoux at the conservatoire in La Rochelle, he went on to win a first prize in organ at the conservatoire in Boulogne-Billancourt. He perfected his skills at academies with Marie-Claire Alain, among others.
He performs in concert, solo or with other instrumentalists, choirs or orchestras, on the organs of the cathedrals of Poitiers, Amiens, Le Havre, Nantes, La Rochelle, Saintes and Monaco, and in the churches of Royan, La Madeleine and Saint-Etienne-du-Mont in Paris, as well as in Europe and the United States.
Since 2005, he has played the harpsichord with the Comédie-Française troupe in Molière's Le Malade imaginaire, with over 300 performances in Paris and on tour in Europe and Asia.
A teacher with the City of Paris, Jorris Sauquet teaches music education at the rue La Fontaine primary schools. Every week, he welcomes classes of Parisian children to the organ loft at Notre-Dame du Rosaire, where he has been titular organist since 2004.
