Presentation of: CHATEAU DE MONTIGNY
Built around 1730, the chateau of Montigny is an excellent illustration of the classic style with a central lodge and flanking wings. Near to the chateau can be seen a chapel with its presbytery and a dovecote. At the end of the 19th century, a stud farm was built, wich is still active today.
It is supplied with water by a drilling 100 meters deep, activated by a pump run on a single cylinder motor, working from "gazogene".
