This mound is also made from the ballast from the ships; it gets its name from the Breton ‘Leni goz’ which means ‘little ponds’ in
‘Le bois des Aulnes’, which was created in 1908, is a haven of greenery which every year is the venue for ‘Le Noël Magique’.
Recently renovated, the grounds are planted with Judas trees, cork oaks, arbutus, phyllaria and Portuguese laurel.
