Presentation of: SITE SAINT-SAUVEUR - MICRO-FOLIE
The Saint-Sauveur site is becoming a lively local cultural venue open to all.
Since November 2024, the Site Saint-Sauveur has been home to a Micro-Folie. Developed by the French Ministry of Culture in partnership with La Villette, the Micro-Folie gives visitors access to a digital museum featuring works from a number of national and international museums. The facility also features a virtual reality space presenting immersive cultural content, and a Fab Lab equipped with a 3D printer and a digital embroidery machine.
The Transfiguration altarpiece will still be open to the public, and a gallery will be devoted to the work of Nicole Renard.
From January 2024, a quarterly programme of events will be offered, and for the start of the 2024-2025 school year, Terres de Montaigu will be opening art and cultural education courses to enable students to practise different artistic practices around books (writing, comic strips, etc.), echoing the Printemps du Livre de Montaigu event.
